I don’t play any MMORPG’s but I was wondering, can you level up in real life? I think I just did! I just took my geekdom to the next level! In my quest to learn all things about all things that I want to learn about, I realized that I love puzzles, and the Rubiks cube is the best place to start. I respect all you 80′s geeks out there who were geeking out with the cube back in the day. You were speed-cubing when I was a baby! I was pooping and peeing and puking all over myself and you were paving the way for us future geeks! Well now I’m here and now that I’m pretty good at the standard 3x3x3 cube, I’ve decided to ‘up the anty’ and try to pwn a 4x4x4 cube! Here I am with my 2x2x2, 4x4x4, 3x3x3 (m&m version) and my Zelda shirt!

So after I successfully hacked the ps2, the first game I wanted to play was God of War. Actually, the GOW games are pretty much the main reason why I wanted a ps2 in the first place. I remember seeing trailers and reviews for the game when it first came out and it looked awesome! Well, it took me about a week to get all the way through, playing pretty much every single night for a few hours. I happily gave up sleep to play this game! I recommend to everyone to give up sleep to play this game! Let me tell you a little about the game and my opinions, but first, check out our hero – KRATOS!!!

Dear all, it is done! I finally purchased and successfully hacked a ps2! It has been my lifelong dream to hack a ps2 ever since June when I hacked an Xbox, and now all my dreams have come true! It was such a fun experience with the Xbox that I just couldn’t stop thinking about trying out my skills on the ps2. It was actually a very interesting process and I could talk about it for hours if you’re ever interested, but for this post I’ll try to keep it quick. So sit back, grab some corn, and let me tell you the tale of my latest hacking adventure!

Do you ever miss playing your old 8-bit NES system? Do you miss the good old days of simple, straight forward games? Who is the coolest pirate ever? No it’s not Captain Jack Sparrow, it’s Guybrush Threepwood! About a week ago I finished playing “Monkey Island 2: LeChuck’s Revenge Special Edition” and now that the euphoria has faded a bit, I can finally get through the tears and tell you how much I love this game!

I’ve played the first Monkey Island about 7 or 8 times and the special edition version once and it was awesome! So when I saw that there was a special edition version of Monkey Island 2, I had to do it! I have played the old school version only twice before, and it had been a while since I had searched for Big Whoop, so I decided it was time to play it again! Needless to say, it satisfied my nostalgia g-spot for hours on end! Sorry to be so graphic, but I was paying tribute to the updated graphics and sounds put into the special edition version. They added voice acting for all the dialogue, they re-created the music with real instruments, and the graphics are all HD as graphics are supposed to be! Have you seen this abomination?
It’s Pepsi and Mountain Dew Throwback, and that’s exactly what you should do with it, throw it back! Alright, I know it was a horrible pun, but come on, it’s a horrible idea! Okay, so Pepsi was trying to bring back an old classic, or just pay tribute to something from the past, but why did they choose something that nobody cares about or wants?! Why don’t they bring back something that people will really remember? Why did they bring back something that looks and tastes the EXACT same as what’s already out there? What is the fun in that?

Attention any blog followers who are also fans of movies…I just wanted to tell you about the best movie review site ever. If you haven’t checked out Spill.com you are missing out. I hate listening to Ebert and whatever guest he has on his show. Their reviews are for old people! And all they do is sit around and talk about it and then give it a thumbs up or down, SO boring! So about 3 weeks ago I finished playing The Legend Of Zelda, The Minish Cap, and let me just say, woah!
Before I played it, I was skeptical and hesitant. How good could a gameboy advance game be? VERY good! I was a fool! First of all, it’s a Zelda game. That right there should have been enough, but I had never played any of the handheld Zelda games before, so I thought it was going to be lesser quality. Well, this game had so much content! It took me about 2 weeks of playing it almost every night for a few hours each time! When I wasn’t playing it, I was constantly thinking about it, talking about it, and looking up sites about it! It’s so fun when a game can get you so hooked that you lose sleep over it! (more…)
